ABOUT Ivy & Birch

I founded Ivy & Birch in May 2019 as a small, independent floral design studio in the Village of Oak Park, Illinois, just west of downtown Chicago. My parents introduced me to the beauty and wonder of nature at a young age and I’ve been in awe of nature’s intricate details ever since. I still marvel at the infinite varieties of shapes, textures and colors in flowers, trees and plants no matter where I am, whether it’s on a walk in Oak Park or among the forest-filled coasts of Michigan and Maine.

I’d never considered turning my love for nature into a pursuit until I started making floral arrangements from my own garden a few years ago. After designing arrangements for friends and family and working at several florists, I made the leap to set out on my own so that I could share my passion and creativity with others. I hope my soulful designs move and inspire you, just as nature continues to inspire me.
